HCHE is the home of the Chargers basketball team.  Our purpose is to provide a competitive basketball program for homeschooled students as an athletic opportunity, that encourages and develops:

     Sense of community within Hardin County Home Educators

We currently offer a co-ed elementary program for grades 2nd-5th. Our junior high 

(6th-8th) and JV & Varsity (9th-12th) programs have separate teams for the boys and girls.  There is a fee of $100 per player with a maximum family fee of $150.  All players and parents must sign our Code of Conduct and reach other eligibility requirements to play.

The Chargers volleyball program is available to girls in 3rd-12th grades and its purpose coincides with our basketball purpose.  All players and parents must sign our Code of Conduct and reach other eligibility requirements to play.  There is a $75 fee to participate.

These programs are volunteer run so it is vital that our parents understand that they will be involved in any of the following:

     Coaching

     Admissions

     Concessions

     Score keeping

     Stats

     Clock

     Cleaning

     Scheduling
