HCHE is the home of the Chargers basketball team.  Our purpose is to provide a competitive basketball program for homeschooled students as an athletic opportunity, that encourages and develops:

     Incentive to improve

     Sense of community within Hardin County Home Educators

We currently offer a co-ed elementary program for grades 3rd-5th. Our junior high 

(6th-8th) and JV & Varsity (9th-12th) programs have separate teams for the boys and girls.  There is a fee of $75 per player with a maximum family fee of $100.  All players and parents must sign our Code of Conduct and reach other eligibility requirements to play.

The Chargers volleyball program is available to girls in 7th-12th grades and its purpose coincides with our basketball purpose.  All players and parents must sign our Code of Conduct and reach other eligibility requirements to play.  There may be an additional fee to participate.

These programs are volunteer run so it is vital that our parents understand that they will be involved in any of the following:

     Coaching

     Admissions

     Concessions

     Score keeping

     Stats

     Clock

     Cleaning

     Scheduling
